Milk's favorite cookie? More like Kristi's favorite cookie.
I never really got the whole milk + Oreo = a chorus of Angels, serenading us from heaven. I've also never been a pull apart and lick kind of girl, either.
Nope, I want to maximize that delicious Oreo filling.
I carefully twist open two cookies, and combine the sides with the most filling. I even do this with the double stuff. No such thing as too much filling.
Which is why I decided that the filling needed to be incorporate prominently in this recipe, and not just as a drizzle on top. I mean, what's an Oreo without a cream filling?
Oreo Creme Filling Cheesecake Swirl
Cheesecake in its basic form is only a few ingredients: cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and eggs. (And sour cream, too, but you don't really need that for a swirl).
This cheesecake swirl is even further simplified: cream cheese, Oreo filling, and an egg.
The rich, cream filling replaces the sugar and sour cream in a traditional recipe. It balances with the cream cheese for a delicious pairing to the Oreo cookie base.

The Key to Oreo Cheesecake Brownies
No flour. Just Oreos.
Seriously, you're going to essentially make Oreo flour and use that as the base for your brownies.
Just make sure to sift the cookies after pulsing them in a food processor. It helps remove the larger chunks of cookie and ensures a smoother brownie texture. Otherwise, it'll be a bit grainy with the larger pieces of cookie in the base.
